Compare Two Birth Charts
Synastry shows which angles the planets of two birth charts form with each other. You'll first see the calculated aspects, then how they're read in Western astrology.
The reading describes possible topics for a conversation; it doesn't grade a relationship.
Frequently asked questions
Synastry compares the calculated positions of two birth charts. It shows which angles - conjunction, sextile, square, trine or opposition - the points form with each other. The reading that follows comes from astrological tradition.
No. The calculation shows angles between two charts, but neither relationship quality nor the future. The reading can offer questions for a conversation; whether they fit your actual relationship is for you to judge.
The Ascendant depends on birth time and birthplace. Without a place we can't calculate it, and we never show an invented value. With a free account and your birthplaces, we calculate it too.
Without a time we calculate with 12:00 noon in the chosen time zone and label the result accordingly. The Moon's position in particular, and tight aspects, can shift as a result. We don't show Ascendant or Midheaven without an exact time and place.
Your whole synastry, with interpretation
With an account you see all calculated aspects as a wheel and a list. With birth time and place, Ascendant and houses are added; saved people can be compared again later.
